HOLIDAY ILLNESS COMPENSATION: £2.9K

We represented a couple who had their relaxing holiday to Rhodes, Greece ruined by an episode of food poisoning.

Mr R started to feel nauseous on the first day of his holiday. Early the following morning he suffered from diarrhoea and was vomiting profusely. His girlfriend then started showing similar symptoms a couple of days later.

It took about 2 weeks for the couple to feel 100{d0b33ffed4c839fc4b18c811774d92ca1331969f61d589721459b0764cff8e09} again and as a result they each ended up taking a short period of time off work. Our team secured a settlement in the sum of £1,300 for Mr R and £1,600 for Miss F.

The couple booked their holiday as an all-inclusive package deal and therefore our specialists could rely on ‘The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992’.

These regulations permit you to make a claim against a tour operator, here in the UK, for an illness suffered abroad.

In order to ensure that there was minimal financial risk to the couple, we represented them on a No Win No Fee basis.
